REDRESSing the balance of healthcare for people with sickle cell

The REDRESS study is a clinical trial researching the use of stem cell transplant (also known as bone marrow transplant) to treat people with severe sickle cell disorder (SCD).

 

Led by a multi-disciplinary group of researchers

This study is being led by a group of researchers based at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

The trial is managed by the team at King’s Clinical Trials Unit (KCTU) at King’s College London.  

The study is sponsored by King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (Chief Investigator – Dr Victoria Potter) and funded by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR).
