• Dr Victoria Potter

    CHIEF INVESTIGATOR

    Dr Potter a Consultant Haematologist and Bone Marrow Transplant Director at King’s College Hospital, London. She is the lead researcher for the REDRESS study and is committed to the development of clinical trials in transplantation.

  • Dr Rachel Kesse-Adu

    CO-INVESTIGATOR

    Dr Kesse-Adu is a Consultant Haematologist at Guy’s Hospital in London. She is one of the network leads for the South Thames sickle cell and thalassaemia network and is a co-Investigator for the REDRESS study.

  • Dr Ben Carpenter

    CO-INVESTIGATOR

    Dr Carpenter is a consultant haematologist at University College Hospital. He is co-Investigator for the REDRESS study and has a particular interest in cellular therapies for non-malignancy conditions such thalassaemia and sickle cell disease.

  • Dr Ben Carter

    SENIOR STATISTICIAN

    Dr Carter is Reader and Senior Lecturer in Biostatistics at King’s College London. He is the methodological lead and Senior Statistician for many studies at King’s College London and leads the design analysis of the REDRESS study results.

  • Professor Paul Tappenden

    HEALTH ECONOMIST

    Prof Tappenden is professor of Health Economic Modelling at the University of Sheffield. He has over 17 years’ experience in designing, developing and critically appraising health economic models across a wide range of disease areas.

  • Dr Aline Navega Biz

    RESEARCH FELLOW

    Aline is a Research Fellow in Decision Modelling at the University of Sheffield. She will be supporting Prof Tappenden with the health economics analysis on the REDRESS study. Her research interests include: economic evaluation of technologies in Health, cost-effectiveness modelling, and budget impact analyses.

  • Mr Daryl Hagan

    SENIOR TRIAL MANAGER

    Daryl is a Senior Trial Manager at the King’s Clinical Trials Unit (KCTU), the trial unit organising the REDRESS study. He has over 8 years’ experience of trial management and coordination and joined King’s College London in January 2022.

  • Ms Francesca Maher

    JUNIOR STATISTICIAN

    Francesca is a Statistician at the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics at King’s College London. She is an analyst for many research studies at the department, including the REDRESS study, and has worked at King’s College London since January 2024.
